Honduras Day 3

Hey! Here is day 3 - and probably some of my prettiest pictures from the trip!! We spent the WHOLE day in Comayagua. We were wiped out by lunch! We evangelized and painted the homes. They are mostly made out of mud - so painting the outsides makes them look so much nicer and it blesses the people. I was not one that painted, I went and evangelized and prayed over people. I loved hearing about the people of Honduras and being able to pray for them.

This is the main road!
Nikki & Janae working hard (with a little goofing around if you look at Janae's eyebrows!) painting the homes!
Blake being his tall self and reaching areas others can't!

This is Jim Favor, another missionary down in Honduras  (mostly in Comayagua) and he has a soccer tournament and stuff for kids, and helps with the disabled and many other things. Here he is explaining to J'lainne and Emma what is wrong with the child  in the Orange shirt.

Jimmy! He is really scary, but is still one of the most loving and caring person I know. He helps the unhelpable. He loves the unlovable, and is still bad to the bone at the same time. His heart for helping people is just so huge...
Here we are lifting up this woman's needs. It's awesome because we don't speak their language, and we didn't use our translator for praying most the time just because its a hard task! And we would pray, and they would get it! If someone came to me and started praying in Spanish I'd be like... huh, k Jesus means Jesus haha and that'd be it! But no! These people got it, and that was just so awesome. They would cry and just smile and that just shows that the presence of God was there. They didn't need to know English to understand us.
Do you think there is anything wrong with this beautiful girl? This is the last place we went to to go tell people about Jesus, and it was a place for disabled people to get therapy and stuff. They are trying to get the place running but are having trouble doing so. So we went in, prayed for the place to prosper while praying for several people in there. Meagan and I were talking to this girl with one of our translators and she told us that her step-mother was so abusive to her that she can no longer walk, and this girl is only five years old! It broke my heart, this poor girl. She stuck out to Meagan too, so we just prayed for her, we prayed that she will receive healing and one day walk - and one day she will! Notice she has gone thru all that and is smiling. :) I love it! She is one of the three or four kids I wanted to bring home with me, just so precious with such a sweet spirit.
After our long day we hit up a nice restaurant in town and it was so good! REAL MEXICAN FOOD! It was nice. Then Jim took us to his country club where we sat out, hung out as a team, swam and went on the golf course (I paid $15 for a 45min massage! WOW!). I got some really good pictures! Here are some above. It was so beautiful.

Well, I'm out! Check back tomorrow for Honduras Day 4!!!!
