Seniors

This is Aaron... He needed his senior pictures done asap so I decided to help him out get em' done! It was fun, considering it was my first paid experience. :)
This is Matt, aka my boyfriend. He wanted to just get his pictures done, so we did!  He looks so tough in these pictures! :) He didn't want to get like a REAL photo shoot so we just used his front yard! I only took about 30 photos, too.

As always, it was a simple and short blog! Thanks for reading.

Fun times...

So I got to go with Ken (my brother's best friend) on a photo shoot a couple of weeks ago.
It was a lot of fun. I'm really excited because it seems like I'll be working with them a lot
and I'll be getting some experience under my sleeve.
I downloaded a free trial of Adobe Lightroom 2 to see if I like it. If I like it, I will purchase
it sometime. I don't know what to think of it just yet... I was playing around with it with
the pictures that were taken with Ken a while back, and these pictures are the outcome!
As you can see I really need to continue to play with it.
These are antique, aged, and direct positive settings. I have no idea! :) But it is really fun!
I love figuring out new things! Speaking of, Ken downloaded Capture NX on my computer
and I really like it! It is taking some time to get use to, and I know I have a lot to learn with it.
Ken has already showed me somethings, but I will have to continue using it and figuring it out.

Alright, well there they are! Not the best, but still fun! I will seriously upload the two seniors I took pictures of this last year next! Maybe tonight or tomorrow? Look back!

PS> For some reason it's cutting off a lot up there - I'm sorry! :( I can't fix it!

Favorite Quotes

Okay, I've decided to put picture blogging aside for this post. I want to share my favorite quotes with you guys!!

So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday. - Noah, The Notebook

I know what I want, because I have it in my hands right now. You. - Gerry, P.S. I Love You

Rose, you're no picnic, all right? You're a spoiled little brat, even, but under that, you're the most amazingly, astounding, wonderful girl, woman that I've ever known...
Jack, I...
No, let me try and get this out. You're ama- I'm not an idiot, I know how the world works. I've got ten bucks in my pocket, I have no-nothing to offer you and I know that. I understand. But I'm too involved now. You jump, I jump remember? I can't turn away without knowing you'll be all right... That's all I want. - Rose & Jack, Titanic

You're acting like I didn't love you.
Evelyn, loving you kept me alive.  - Evelyn & Rafe, Pearl Harbor

I might kiss you.
I might be bad at it.
That's not possible. - Jamie & Landon, A Walk to Remember

So what are you're favorite love quotes? These are my absolute favorites, & also some of the best movies out love movies out there! :)

Kids!

These two DARLING twin girls are Audriella & Victoria. They are so sweet, and fun to be with. I've known them since they were bald little girls in matching jumpsuits. They are precious, and I have loved watching them grow up!
These two kids are Hayden & Laynee. I watch them quiet often. Hayden is the cutest little boy, and Laynee is so adorable. We were bored one day and I decided to do a little photo shoot of them... To build up a portfolio. Kids are harder to shoot because they don't stay still for very long. Especially one year olds like Laynne.. :)

Thanks guys!
Next, seniors!

Melissa's Birthday Present

I had the oppertunity to get some good practice off my sister and her boyfriend. It was a lot of fun, and I was doing it for her birthday! They were good models!

So cute!
I love these piggy back ride pictures! They did so well with them.
This picture was taken under a bridge, and suprisgly came out really well. I love the angle I got.
So cute!
I really enjoyed these because the sun was in such a good spot!
Once again, love the angle!
This was one of my favorites!

I had so much fun doing this shoot and it was so much fun! I know Melissa loved it!

Check back soon for another blog! I'll be blogging about kids! :)

Honduras Day 5

Hey! Sorry its been so long! I have been house sitting this past week and I was thinking I could just connect to their internet and update, but my computer wouldn't. So here I am updating you with the last day of Honduras! Now, I didn't take many pictures because we weren't doing things where I could, so this will only have a few! :)
You jump first :)

We woke up crazy early to go on a hike, where we talked about the week and blessed other people with words of encouragement and stuff. So that was cool. But this place was so beautiful. I've seen a lot of waterfalls and rivers but this one was just so amazing!
This is Bryan, he was the best bus driver ever! We were sad to leave him, and he was sad we were leaving! :(
In the afternoon we went to Tegucigalpa to do our drama in front of the Honduran military and in front of all the generals and stuff! Intense stuff!! But it was really cool and I heard they liked it. :) Which is encouraging! Then at night we went back to Comayagua to go help out with a Soccer tournament. So we went and we actually didn't do much! I was having trouble getting shots, since night time is pretty hard, so here are just a few. More on Facebook!

Well, Honduras was amazing. I had a ton of fun on the trip and I know I'll never forget it. If you ever have a chance to go on a mission trip - take it! They change your life!
